Workshop D: Developing and Communicating a Comprehensive IT Efficiency Strategy

The Green Data Center discussion is often times focused around the the technical. Cooling, Power, Ventilation and Virtualization are all important aspects to address, but much of the time little gets done to truly affect either the environment, or the bottom line. Within this workshop Michelle Erickson will outline the process of designing and executing a comprehensive IT efficiency program that intersects multiple different business functions and departments. This three hour interactive presentation will focus on the following aspects:

- Defining efficiency goals
- Implementing efficiency strategies within the data center
- Communicating the strategy throughout business functions
