Marc Faig is the Chief Innovation Officer at AST Modular, a Barcelona based engineering firm specialized in Secure, Modular and Energy Efficient datacenters. Marc has more than 12 years experience in the global datacenter arena. He has designed and audited over 200 Data Centers to date according to industry standards such as TIA 942, Uptime Institute’s Tier levels and ASHRAE’s. In his CIO role, Marc's mission is to provide technology leadership to the industry through innovative datacenter solutions according to three cornesrtone values: energy efficiency, modularity and resiliency. Marc is an electro-mechanical engineer from the University of Catalonia and holds an MBA from the University of Barcelona. Fluent in 3 languages, in the past he has been involved in Green Energy Projects in both academic and business environments.
