New Frontiers in Liquid Cooling- Green Revolution Cooling

Liquid cooling for computer servers has historically required costly and/or complicated infrastructure in exchange for significantly lower electricity usage and higher power performance. GRC’s CarnotJet system offers the benefits of traditional liquid cooling with lower upfront costs. GRC will discuss three case studies from Texas companies that have rolled out the CarnotJet system. Case Studies Analyzed:
  • CGG Veritas, a publicly-traded oil and gas services company, Houston,TX
  • Midas Networks, Austin,TX
  • Texas Advanced Computing Center, Austin Tx

David Banys is the Director of Marketing for Green Revolution Cooling, an Austin-based manufacturer of performance submersion cooling systems for OEM servers. The company's flagship product is the CarnotJet™ system, a data center solution that requires less investment than air cooling (even free cooling) while reducing data center energy use by 50% and providing cooling overhead of up to 100 kW of true (fanless) computer per rack. The submersion cooling technology is server agnostic, accepting servers from any OEM, including Dell, HP, IBM, and Supermicro.
