Using SNIA Emerald published Results for Energy Planning
The SNIA Emerald(tm) Program is an industry repository available to the industry-at-large of test data reports specific to storage system energy efficiency metrics. The session will guide administrators of storage systems on how to utilize energy and configuration data in the reports to effectively manage energy as part of daily operations. Additionally, procurers and recommenders of storage systems will further understand how to use measured data and configuration information contained in the report to plan future storage solution selections with the focus on energy.
